Universal Curriculum
Universal Curriculum is a series of high quality digital learning content for teachers and students in Mathematics and Science. The series contain several thousand interactive pages with visual animations, videoclips, illustrations, simulations and a huge variety of assignments with advanced feedback and reporting system.
Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics
Each subject in the Universal Curriculum series contains two courses: One for lower secondary and one for upper secondary levels. Each course contains about 100 chapters of interactive learning content taking the students through a visual and educational journey in the subject to be studied. The courses also come with a presentational resource for the teacher in addition to the student resource. Try some examples:
| Chapter examples | For the teacher | For the student |
|---|---|---|
| Biology: Photosynthesis | Try it out | Try it out |
| Chemistry: Ionic bonding | Try it out | Try it out |
| Physics: Work and energy | Try it out | Try it out |
| Mathematics: Trigonometry | Try it out | Try it out |
Feedbacks
The assignments give immediate and often leading feedbacks on wrong answers. These come in the form of hints, animations or simpler assignements that will guide the students to the right solution. On correct answers the student sometimes gets rewards in the form of interesting animations or more difficult assignments.
Detailed reporting system
The Universal Curriculum saves the students work and the teacher has access to detailed student reports. The reports contain information on how long the student has been working on a particular topic, how many errors have been made and whether or not the student has looked up the right answer. The courses are available to the student both in school and at home as long as there is access to the Internet.
